The Study of Independent Innovation of IT Industry in Dongguan of China

Dongguan of China is a global manufacturing base for IT products. In the changing environment of domestic and international economy, Dongguan is facing a great pressure to innovate. Based on the background of emphasizing and supporting independent innovation by the local government, firstly, the paper analyzes the formation of the IT industry in Dongguan deeply, and then studies the problems, characteristics, advantages and content of IT industry independent innovation in Dongguan of China, discusses the related policies and independent innovation model of IT industry over the past 30 years. Lastly, the paper gives a prospect of independent innovation model in the future. Study in the paper has a positive significance for Dongguan to improve the local innovation capability.
