Abstract :
The `two-laser model´ optically controlled array antenna uses two laser diodes whose frequency difference is set to the desired microwave frequency. An experiment to obtain the microwave aperture amplitude distribution at 1.54 GHz for the two-laser model is demonstrated. First, the experimental setup for the two-laser model is shown and then it is clarified that a desired microwave aperture amplitude close to the theoretical value can be obtained in the experimental setup. Next, it is confirmed that antenna radiation patterns calculated using the measured aperture amplitude are almost shaped into the required contoured beams
