Abstract :
A practical optical link system was prepared with a transmitter (Tx)/receiver (Rx) for the antenna measurement. The optical TRx module consisted of a DFB-LD, a module PCB, a LNA, a driver/receiver IC, a PIN-PD, and a SMF jump cord. For the validity of our proposed system, we compare an optical link system with a RF cable system. The results clearly indicate that our proposed system can be useful to evaluate the antenna from 85 MHz to 2000 MHz.
