Abstract :
The necessary slot wedge fixing of Roebel bars in dependence of multiple rated electrical current is calculated both in numerical and analytical ways. Characteristic mechanical stress peaks inside the material structure obtained from the numerical calculations are compared with the values of analytic solutions. All investigations are carried out for several typically used industrial material compositions.
