Abstract :
Future information systems should be able to provide seamlessly the right information, at the right moment, without user´s intervention, in order to achieve a higher degree of freedom in mobility. Our work is a joint venture of research and development, on one side, wearable intelligent sensor devices and signal processing and, on the other side, personal assistants, knowledge exchanges and distributed software agents. The purpose of this paper is to investigate a generic approach for environmental personal agents, emphasizing autonomy and avoiding any centralization. This approach facilitates the design and the implementation of systems dedicated to the provision of knowledge to individuals in mobility, depending on their physiological state, their activity and their physical environment
