Abstract :
The traffic capacity for a network of adaptive HF systems will depend not only on the HF channel behaviour and the input traffic load but also to a very high degree on the properties of the HF system itself. The purpose of this paper is to study performance of two different HF systems in the presence of a jammer. One is a basic FED-STD-1045 Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) system and the other one is a synchronous system based on the ALE standard
