  • Abstract
    Security issues have become a main concern in modern life. A powerful cryptosystem has to be practical, secure and able to be implemented on different platforms. The goal of this research is to develop a basis of cryptographic scheme which utilizes some advanced transform techniques for various applications. Number Theoretic Transforms (NTTs) are relatively powerful in data diffusion. A symmetric cryptographic system using a member of NTTs, the New Mersenne Number Transform (NMNT), and a key-dependant non-linear operation is proposed. This algorithm possesses high security levels and many other advantages.
