Abstract :
The present enterprise network, owing to various reasons, has to be connected with the Internet through multi-lines in order to get different network qualities of service. To balance the service capacity of many nodes connecting the Internet, a QoS management model of the enterprise network is then needed. Combining the actual situation of the enterprise network with the advanced technique in the study of QoS in network, the writers provide a network model in addressing QoS problems on the application layer. It not only embodies the thought of solving QoS problems on the basis of DiffServ, but adopts totally different policies and methods, which effectively improve the WWW and FTP quality of service based on the explorer. Steps to realize the model are described. This model is practical for the network which uses many proxy servers to connect the Internet to realize QoS management
