Abstract :
Interdisciplinary research is an important organizational pattern with integration of heterogeneous knowledge, modes of thinking and motivation to solve complexity engineering problems, based on innovative tasks. To clarify and analyze knowledge innovation mechanism of interdisciplinary research is conducive to effectively management and operation interdisciplinary organization. Based on the analysis of the static and dynamic knowledge innovation perspectives, this paper further constructed the model of interdisciplinary research to reveal interdisciplinary research emphases, features and functions. The model, incorporating three core dimensions of interdisciplinary research, embodies the macroscopic characteristics of selection the relevant disciplines to expand knowledge and organization boundaries and the microscopic characteristics of dynamically integration of different knowledge units with members consciously learning, according to the goals of organization innovation.
