Abstract :
The solar blind ultraviolet (UV) spectrum provides unique opportunities for wireless communications and sensing. We present recent experimental and analytical results in non-line-of-sight UV channel characterization and modeling, including impulse response and path loss. Path loss predictions are validated with experimental measurements outdoors. The effects of multiple scattering are captured and demonstrate significant dominance in some atmospheric conditions.
