Abstract :
Covering built-up areas with cellular systems requires the use of 3D picocellular networks. Planning these networks requires spatial tiling methods. This article proposes a set of 3D cells suited to 3D tiling purposes. An assignment method based on cell geometrical characteristics is proposed. Co-channel and adjacent channel interference are taken into account. Reuse distance and frequency groups number are obtained with only co-channel interference constraints. As a conclusion, two 3D cells most suitable for 3D networks are selected
