Abstract
Even though effective user interfaces and applications are designed and developed for mobile devices, we do not yet know all that we need to know about how users use them efficiently. Usability testing refers to a process that employs participants or users who are representative of the target population to evaluate the degree to which a product meets specific usability criteria. In this paper, first, we introduce a general theoretical background for the usability testing, describe several evaluation methods, and show how they fit with the product being designed. We discuss the consideration of usability factors when starting to make mobile devices; and finally, we propose a new usability testing method for developing mobile devices´ interfaces and applications.
