Abstract :
This paper discusses the global output regulation problem for a class of singular nonlinear systems. First, we apply input and coordinate transformation to transfer the singular nonlinear system into a reduced-order normal system, and we show that the solvability of the stabilization problem for this normal system implies the solvability of the output regulation problem for the original singular nonlinear system. Then, the sufficient conditions for the output regulation problem of the singular nonlinear system are established by solving the stabilization problem of the normal system. Finally, the proposed approach is illustrated by a numerical example.
