Abstract :
This paper proposes an adaptive modulation system for land wideband mobile communication to achieve high quality, high bit rate transmission on Rayleigh fading channels. We compare our scheme with fixed-rate schemes and research on the feasibility of this scheme in wideband mobile environments. The performances of the BER and the spectral efficiency are considered. Important parameters discussed are the fading rate and the block size used in the scheme. All the results are based on numerous of simulations
