Abstract :
Foresight Vehicle is a collaboration between UK Government, industry and academia. It includes a variety of activities of which the most prominent at the moment is a programme of research and development sponsored by a number of government departments under the DTI´s LINK scheme. The programme has recently combined with the Innovative Manufacturing Initiative of EPSRC so that it now covers both product and process technology for road vehicles and the road infrastructure for 2020.
