Abstract :
From the very beginning of computer systems and networks, there has been a severe lack of analytical techniques enabling effective performance evaluation/prediction for actual systems and networks. Such techniques were needed, in particular, for the systems developed in rather poorly countries where the hardware available for the designers was obsolete in comparison to that available in well developed countries. The paper describes some experience in ICT system modeling and the network modeling tool and technique worked out.
