Abstract
Based on investigation of the theory of three essential circuit elements for multi-valued circuits, this paper presented a universal circuit theory for adiabatic circuits, namely the theory of three essential circuit elements for adiabatic circuits (3ECEAC). This theory was applied to design a new cross-memory adiabatic circuit adopting two-phase power clocks-clocked transmission gate adiabatic logic (CTGAL) circuit. CTGAL circuit was simulated by HSPICE. The simulation results indicated that the logic function of CTGAL circuit designed based on the 3ECEAC was correct so as to verify the 3ECEAC, and CTGAL circuit had the character of remarkable low power
