  • Abstract
    Many technological processes require extended precision of parameters gauging. These processes include the production of pneumatic tires. In the given manufacturing process the method of extrusion is used. The essence of the method is punching the warmed-up rubber mass through the forming device. Obtained as a result of the given procedure the rubber blank is cut and joined. The same method is used in fabricating polymer tubes, for example polyvinyl chloride. However the process has shortcomings. To overcome the problem of dimension measurement, noncontact measurement is considered
