Abstract :
One of the perspective methods of nondestructive control is the method based on the phenomenon of acoustic emission (AE) when the defect itself arising during welding is the active source of forming physical (acoustical) field. One can forecast the state of welding construction according to the informative parameters of this field as a consequence. In this paper, the authors aim to analyze the informative parameters of AE of every component of the welding process and to select useful signals characterizing the sources of arising defects from the total "background noise". To solve the problem posed by the process of automatic welding, articles with a nonconsumable electrode in an argon medium were investigated
