Abstract :
A new three-dimensional multiresolution video compression strategy by applying discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and discrete cosine transform (DCT) is proposed. Its results can bring about a wide range of application in condensed storage and archival of image sequences. Applications to video broadcasting, multimedia image database storage, image archive etc. would be appropriate
