Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the reticulation of condensers in steam power plants. In the modelling process, we do not concentrate on the internal energy of the coupling capacitors, but merely on the enthalpy. This allows us to write a derivative equation for the enthalpy, with the aid of fictitious sources depending on the pressure change rate. This approach is suitable for two phase flows (steam and water) and delivers the steam ratio X and the steam pressure, which is a variable. The calculation is readily extended to other types of condensers with two phases flows. The dynamic model is simulated using Matlab-Simulink and the results are compared with experimental data
