  • Abstract
Guaranteeing user QoS (Quality of Service) through service provider cooperation/negotiation is reality through Next Generation Network (NGN) Framework. The work proposed in this paper typically extends MAS based Shuffle model [1] and defines the functionality of the negotiation plane using auction protocolsviz FPSB, Vickrey and Dutch models. The work compares negotiation behaviors of Service Providers using these algorithms. It uses user QoS requirements (Availability, Delay and Capacity) and Network Providers QoSrequirements (Call Blocking Probability, Mean Time ToRepair and Mean Time Between Failure) as basic parameters for comparison. It helps in establishing relationship between User Agent (UA)QoS and the choice of negotiation model in terms of delay and number of negotiations required.
