Abstract :
A novel design for adding a resonant frequency to a rectangular microstrip antenna is introduced and implemented both theoretically and experimentally. In this implementation the patch is connected to ground by using two stubs. This method is very useful in multiband communication systems where two close resonant frequencies are desired. This method is based on using reactive loading to create an additional resonant frequency
