Abstract
This paper establishes the evaluation index model to evaluate the competitiveness of sci-tech intermediary service industry in Heilongjiang Province based on Principal Component Analysis(PCA). Totally 16 indicators that can reflect the competitiveness of sci-tech intermediary service industry are set in the index model. By use of PCA, this paper selects three principal components: development environmental factor, industry scale factor, human resource factor. The evaluation result shows that sci-tech intermediary service industry of Heilongjiang Province ranks 14th in 31 provinces in China. Considering the problems in the development of sci-tech intermediary service industry, this paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures on how to encourage and develop the sci-tech intermediary service industry in Heilongjiang Province, thereby narrowing the gap with the developed regions.
