  • Abstract
In team management studies, the evaluation of team capabilities is of great theoretical value and practical significance. This paper, based on the DEA method, links team capability and performance together through capability business matrix and business performance matrix, and establishes an integrated DEA evaluation method, which can assess the contribution of capability to performance. It overcomes the shortcomings of traditional evaluation methods (eg. fuzzy mathematics, etc.), such as the lack of linkage between index system and performance, the single sided result etc. At the same time it has the advantages to probe deep layer problems in a company. Finally, it conducts an empirical research by applying this method into a marketing team, in which it has conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the team capacity with three parameters, which are overall team capability, the contribution rate of the team capability and team performance, and provided scientific references for human resources strategies of the company.
