Abstract :
In this paper, we study the strong stabilization problem for linear time-varying systems within the framework of nest algebras. By using inner-outer factorization in nest algebras, this problem is reduced to a minimization problem between a certain operator and the nest algebra. The minimum is solved and is shown to be equal to the norm of a Hankel type operator.
