Abstract :
With the deepening of normalization process, more and more management information systems were built in power supply enterprises. However, due to the lack of high-level co-ordination of planning and a unified information standards, circulation and sharing of enterprise product and management information cannot be supported well, there are many information islands. To solve this problem and give full play to the functions of information resource in enterprise management, we should design and perform unified and comprehensive planning for all information systems in enterprise, that is information resource planning (IRP). In order to achieve standardization and consistency for data environment in IRP, we can combine business processes and integrated information resource to set up a united data environment with subject database. In this work, we introduced the concept and function of subject database, and proposed a general scheme for establish and management of subject database for Power Supply Enterprises.
