Abstract :
In this paper the principal problem areas in scientific outlook from soft-computing standpoint were discussed. The four principal problems are: (1) problem of existence and origin of beings that includes metaphysics, ontology and cosmology; (2) problem of knowledge that means epistemological approach and issues such as origin, grounds and certainty of our knowledge; (3) problem of reasoning that includes inference, logic and argumentation; and (4) problem of values that includes moral philosophy.
