Abstract
In the Personal Handyphone System the base stations will be established along the road with the interval of 100-200 m. So there is a problem of how to synthesize the radiation pattern at a cross-road. The cross radiation pattern is realized by arranging four antennas with equal spaces on a circle. However, the radiation pattern has an incline which is caused by the space and phase error of the fundamental antenna elements. The paper presents a method of designing the antenna with a minimum of space and phase errors of the fundamental antenna elements.
