Abstract :
The sliding mode control method is very useful in the design of control systems, it can make the systems be of desired dynamic behavior and be robust with respect to perturbations. It is shown that the sliding plane can be established by making use of Ackermann´s formula. As a result, we can avoid the blindness during the design process only according the experience. This paper suggests a kind of design method and a practical example is presented. The simulation result shows that the control system designed according to our method is of good stability and ideal performance
