Abstract
Combining the artificial neural network approach for parameter identification with the predictive IP (PIP) control algorithm, an adaptive PIP control method for time-delay systems is proposed. Computer simulation and the application in real-time temperature control system show that the proposed algorithm is suitable to control the systems with varying parameters and long time delays
