Abstract :
This paper outlines a flexible, discrete plant modelling procedure, for all wind turbine generator unit components, including the controllers needed in these systems. The steady state, fault level and dynamic performance of these models have been extensively validated using performance data obtained from electricity supply, oil, marine and general industrial systems.
