Abstract :
A concept of neural management maintenance (NMM) has been set for asset management within the electricity utility. Methods and algorithms are discussed suggesting further development based on generic input/output database. Application of the NMM techniques should intelligently handle the database reducing involvement of asset managers in data processing and at the same time providing him with digested and filtered options for optimum management. These should optimise the asset management process and consequently reduce the overall maintenance costs.
