Abstract :
The gall bladder (GB) is one of the important organs of the hepatic circulating system and cholelithiasis is a common disease associated with it. Gallstones can cause severe pain, nausea and fever. However, the disease is frequently asymptomatic. There is, therefore, an urgent need to study, in vitro, the dynamics of the GB system. Such a study of the human GB system (including gallstones) is based on the investigation of its physiological and pathological states. Also, measurement of acousto-electronic properties is essential for the proper characterization of the gallstones. The present paper deals with analysis of incidence of gallstones in Amritsar (Punjab) India
