Abstract :
The N-Star satellite Ku/S antenna system consists of the main shaped reflector, frequency selective subreflector FSS, the S-band helices, and the Ku-band corrugated feed horn. The Ku/S subreflector consists of a planar frequency selective surface which is transmissive at the S-band, and reflective at the Ku-band. The analysis and design procedure, as well as the performance of the frequency selective subreflector, are presented.
