Abstract :
One of the most important tasks of constructing talent market information system is how to effectively solve the problems that exist in the process of applying for a job and inviting applications for a job. In order to satisfy the requirements of the useful multimedia information anytime, anywhere, the paper proposes a new service scheme, which integrated by using SMS, wireless video transcoding, wireless video transmission, multimedia database, and data mining. To handle the heterogeneous mobile devices and the smallness capability of the handheld devices, a video transcoding gateway system is introduced. To gain the high wireless video quality, an efficient video transcoding structure based on close-loop model is implemented on PCs. The main functions of this transcoding system include frame size down-scaling, frame rate conversion, bit rate adaptation, error resilient conversion, etc. Based on this, the experimental system can supply this new application in talent market multimedia information system (TMMIS).
