Abstract
Producer services gradually become the dominant force of the increasing economy and play a very important role in the development of manufacturing industry. Interactive development between producer services and manufacturing industry in China has been empirically analyzed based on the relative data of them collected from 1990 to 2007. The results show that there is a long-term balanced relationship between producer services and manufacturing industry in China. From the internal structure of producer services, transportation, storage, post and telecommunications, scientific research and polytechnic services are positively related to manufacturing industry, but, finance and insurance is negatively related. Policy recommendation for improving interactive development of producer services and manufacturing industry in China has been described.
