Abstract
Fast moving target simulator is required for testing the performance of monopulse radar. This paper deals with an electronically controlled phased array for the simulation of a fast moving target. A scheme consisting of four horn antennas with a precision attenuator (0.25 dB step) and 4 bit phase shifter is suggested, which will cover /spl plusmn/5.5/spl deg/ with a 10 mrad resolution at a distance of 9 m.
