Abstract :
Microspherical cavities coupled with polarization-maintained tapered optical fibers were developed towards realization of quantum optical devices. We achieved fine tuning of resonant frequency and control of cavity beta-factor. We also succeeded in observation of Fano-effect on peak shape and electrodynamic effect on energy transfer process in microspheres.
