Abstract :
This paper presents performance evaluations of a high-frequency (100 kHz) carrier switched-mode PWM power amplifier system with its precise high-speed current tracking control scheme. The optimum design concept for its state-feedback control system is described on the basis of state-space averaging modelling of PWM power amplifier and model matching method. The high-frequency carrier switched-mode PWM power amplifier system technology operated by four-quadratic modes is more acceptable for the lower ripple current regulated power supplies for applications which requires high-precise analog oriented control system for the efficient generation of gradient magnetic fields
