Abstract :
The incredible amount of web information and the inhumane retrieval result from search engine cannot satisfy people´s demands. Reorganizing the web information in hierarchical structure is one solution. To achieve this aim the knowledge base on specific domain is built using ontology technology. The definition of event which is composed by key information and attributes is given to match the knowledge base. The process of semantic annotation is designed and realized. In this way the web information on specific domain is reorganized and can help return more elaborate result to user. The experimental results show that the methods of knowledge base building and semantic annotation are effective and feasible.
