  • Abstract
The emergency evacuation of amusement building is of extreme importance for the public safety. However, the insufficient facilities and complex environment of amusement buildings make occupants difficult to evacuation efficiently. This paper presents a new emergency evacuation simulation system based on Multi-Agent framework and Geographic Information System (GIS), which can simulate human´s typical behaviors in multi-exit amusement buildings, and present the public evacuation process and in-time distribute during emergency. A prototype system of emergency evacuation simulation is implemented based on GIS application framework. A case study of evacuation in a KTV building in fire disaster has been conducted. Based on the simulation results, we provided some suggestions to improve the evacuation efficiency in KTV buildings.
