  • Abstract
    We present numerical simulations of two-color stationary light generation in a double-lambda- type four-level system. We show that a weak signal pulse can be quantum mechanically manipulated by controlling a pair of laser fields to halt, to choose a propagation direction, and to convert wavelength.
