Abstract :
Based on the fold catastrophe model for the aphid population ecosystem, the corresponding management model with impulsive effects is given by using the chemical controls like spraying pesticide. According to the principle of optimization impulsive control, the optimization moments of spraying pesticide and the corresponding level of the aphid population are obtained. The simulations are carried out to prove the results.
