Abstract :
Team creation is a process of continually solving creative problems. Idea generation and idea evaluation are the most important phases in team creation. Now a great deal of research focuses on idea generation, while little research is about idea selection which is a daunting task to team members. We propose an approach to select the most appropriate idea stage by stage. Our approach is separated into three phases, in each phase different kinds of experts are involved and the most appropriate idea is selected until the last phase. In the first phase, ideas are classified into three classes which are ideas of low quality, misappropriate ideas and appropriate ideas. In this phase appropriate ideas are selected. In the second phase appropriate ideas are comprehensively evaluated according to team task, some ideas are selected according to all criteria or some specific criteria. In the third phase experts discuss about ideas selected in the second phase, and make the final decision.
