Abstract :
Moderate resolution imaging spectror adiometer (MODIS) remote sensing data is one of the new generation satellite remote sensing information sources. Composition of MODIS data is involved in a large number of complex calculations. In this paper, we present a plan of automatic composition of MODIS data based on grid. First of all, the framework is given which is designed for automatic composite of MODIS data based on grid. It achieves the high efficiency of automatic process through task division, task scheduling, distribute strategies and data communication mode. On the basis of business characteristics of MODIS composition, we divide the tasks and rebuild sub-tasks properly, then take different scheduling and distribute strategies to the grid tasks according to different flows and jobs. Meanwhile, we compare three communication modes, and then realize it in the efficient way. Finally, the paper gives evaluation of the grid and looks forward to the future work.
