Abstract :
Management and share on engineering data have become key contents in engineering design. Large-scale phases data with different formats and complex relationships are produced in scientific computing and analyzing in complex product design process, because of its tentativeness and iteration. It has become a bottleneck of product design. In order to organize and manage those data efficiently, main product digital models are discussed in this paper. Product information, product structure-relation and design document three main data model are proposed. An engineering design-analysis system of ring-plate-type pin-cycloid planetary drive is developed as an example of engineering data management which has system management, product information management, drawing management and design analysis four models. The system has functions of browsing, loading, modification, deleting product information, document management, product structure management, parameter design, meshing stiffness computation and analysis, and system maintain. A synthetical design-analysis-management platform is proposed for study of ring-plate-type pin-cycloid planetary drive.
