Abstract
The problem of fair resource allocation is of considerable importance in many applications. In this paper advanced aggregation operators based on the Ordered Weighted Averaging (OWA) are utilized as consistent and fairness - preserving approach to modeling various preferences with regard to distribution of Internet traffic between network participants. The networking model based on Wireless Mesh Networks is considered. The physical medium properties cause strong interference among simultaneously operating node devices, which makes the optimization problem extremely difficult. We show that in this case OWA-based aggregation operators can be utilized just as easily as traditional lexicographic operators.
