Abstract :
This work presents an analysis of size, costs and energy concentration efficiency of a flat facet parabolic solar concentrator using modular design. This proposal of a solar concentrator offers flexibility for its construction with no radical increment in costs. It is shown that a best set of parameters can be selected after comparing different mirror size of a flat facet parabolic solar concentrator. This optimization is aimed for stabilising a better automatic assembly process.
