Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. The nonlinear interaction between glasses or polymers of transparent materials and ultrashort pulse laser called the non-linear multiphoton effect were studied. The nano or microstructure change of glass structures caused by this effect guide the internal modification inside glasses, such as densification, valence reduction of rare-earth ions, single crystal precipitation and so on. In summary, such a ultrashort pulse laser effect of transparent materials is introduced using micro and nanotechnology from the view point of a photonic application.
